The\u00a0Engaged Leaders for Better Communities<\/strong> program is designed to help meet the community\u2019s need for more informed and effective leaders.\u00a0 Winston County is a place for immense potential.\u00a0 Citizens of Winston County recognize that the area is a wonderful place to live and work.<\/p>\n

Class of 2016 – 2017\u00a0Engaged Leaders for Better Communities<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Main objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Foster networking among leaders<\/li>\n
  2. Provide participants with a practical understanding of issues and opportunities facing the Winston County area.<\/li>\n
  3. Encourage participants to become involved citizens.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Class Dates and Programs:<\/h1>\n

    Classes will be held on the 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0Tuesday<\/span>\u00a0of each month from\u00a08:00 – 12:00<\/span>\u00a0starting August 21st<\/sup>, 2018.<\/p>\n

    Exception: Legislative day and Economic and Workforce Development<\/p>\n

    August-\u00a0 Welcome and overview<\/p>\n

    September – Tourism<\/p>\n

    October \u2013 Branding and Community Awareness<\/p>\n

    November \u2013 County Government<\/p>\n

    December –\u00a0 Economic and Workforce Development<\/p>\n

    January \u2013 Education Awareness<\/p>\n

    February \u2013 Legislative Day<\/p>\n

    March – Healthcare Awareness<\/p>\n

    April – Graduation<\/p>\n
