The Engaged Leaders for Better Communities program is designed to help meet the community’s need for more informed and effective leaders. Winston County is a place for immense potential. Citizens of Winston County recognize that the area is a wonderful place to live and work.
Class of 2016 – 2017 Engaged Leaders for Better Communities

Main objectives:
- Foster networking among leaders
- Provide participants with a practical understanding of issues and opportunities facing the Winston County area.
- Encourage participants to become involved citizens.
Class Dates and Programs:
Classes will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 8:00 – 12:00 starting August 21st, 2018.

September – Tourism
October – Branding and Community Awareness
November – County Government
December – Economic and Workforce Development
January – Education Awareness
February – Legislative Day
March – Healthcare Awareness
April – Graduation
